[Phys-L] Re: "moving clock runs slower"

Yes; two HP clocks one w/ a plane ticket another for its keeper. It's a
bit difficult to fold in the reduced g, the various accelerations, etc.
But the result was + w/in the exptl. error.

bc, who has the Science (AAAS) article somewhere in the garage.

p.s. but semantic bickering is fun.

I am now old and senile, but don't I remember correctly that someone
performed the twin experiment with real clocks some time ago? ie flew
around the Earth with one atomic clock while another atomic clock stayed
home?

Do I remember correctly?

What was the result?

Can we stop the incessant bickering about semantics and come to understand
a bit of physics from time to time?
