[Phys-L] Re: Animated Math - comments

At 04:37 PM 7/4/2005, James Frysinger, you wrote:

"The SI derived temperature scale is the Celsius scale now, no longer called
the Centigrade scale. The symbol is °C and the space comes between the

indicate a plane angle value given in degrees."

A simulator instructor noticed a display text for outside air temperature
was given in degrees Centigrade.
He asked for the display to be updated to Celcius from Centigrade,
which I did without much thought - until a user noticed how it should be
spelled. Google finds a quarter million instances of the wrong spelling,
but many more of the correct spelling, I'm pleased to see.

Brian Whatcott Altus OK Eureka!
