Golfer Lee Trevino once remarked that his solution to lightning was to
stand with his one iron raised, because "even God can't hit a one iron."

He was obviously joking. Having suffered several lightning hits, he was
one of the instigators of the PGA rule that play stops when electrical
storms are in the vicinity.
