I looked at the photo again. Notice that the windshield seems to have a
steep inclination - certainly over 45 deg from the vertical.
This is aerodynamically favorable, no doubt, but leads to a large
aperture in the vertical projection of the electric cage - so one can
assume there was evidence of a current splash in the dash area.
