[Phys-L] Physics Englightens the World event

"Physics Enlightens The World" is an international event being promoted in the USA by the American
Physical Society and the Society of Physics Students in recognition of the World Year of Physics
2005 (100-year anniversary of Albert Einstein's great discoveries in Physics).

The event is to send a light signal in a continuous relay around the globe, starting in Princeton,
NJ, and moving west. It will begin in the evening after dark on Monday April 18th, 2005 (in
commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Einstein's death). It will end approximately one day later
in Princeton when the light signal returns there.
