[Phys-L] Re: California Physics Standards Test



I generally agree with what John wrote as well, but suspect that some of
the distractors that appear as very weak to John; would have a
surprisingly large number of folks choosing them as mentioned below.

The two batches of water at different temperatures strikes me as a good
example. Probably incorrect answers tell us a lot about students
ability to relate real world experience to test questions and their
abilities to read graphs. Admittedly not directly the "physics", but
worthy subjects of testing in a Physics standards test.

Just a hasty quick thought.
