Re: Cloud chambers

This was < 1984, so I must assume it was potatoes or rice-- everything
else goes in the microwave and / or toaster oven. We only eat mammal
meat at restaurants and chez amis.

Suspecting CTRW's invention resulted in the chance view of a track when
opening a beer bottle or p cooker (kidding), I searched and found he was
a meteorologist to the end of his life (at 86 he flew over the Hebrides
/ Shetlands? for cloud observation.) Here's a very interesting site
explaining his cloud making activity w/ anime, from his Alma Mater.

Here's the bio:

p.s. for this I trust my v. poor memory: tracks in a freshly opened
beer bottle, also.

I once opened a pressure cooker and saw tracks for over a minute.
