Can anyone explain to me why the hole sits at rest in the liquid being
vibrated at medium frequencies. Why does the system then go onto explore
other states when the frequency is increased. Does this realate to stable
and unstable equilibrium? Why doe iteventually collapse as it touches the
side of the dish?
