Tenure-Track Position

The Department of Physics at Tennessee Technological University invites
applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Physics
starting August 1, 2004. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or
equivalent degree, preferably with experience in the field of Physics
Education Research; post-doctoral experience is preferred. Candidates
must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching undergraduate
physics, especially introductory courses, and potential for an active
research program in Physics Education Research that complements the
department's mission and interests. Applicants should arrange for a resume,
a statement of teaching philosophy, a description of research interests,
