Yes, and I suppose I just caught myself doing the same...

The energy involved in
this process (and its condensatory reverse) is *universally*
called "heat of vaporization" in English-language physics books, yes?

But now I've got more questions.

If "heat of fusion" is the energy involved in the melting/freezing
process, what is the missing term below?

vaporization - condensation
sublimation - deposition
fusion - ??

And, if vaporization refers to the liquid to vapor transition and
sublimation refers to the solid to vapor transition does "fusion"
refer to the solid to liquid transition?
