Re: resistivity versus temperature



Heike Kamerlingh Onnes in the early 1900's studied the resistivity of
high purity metals down to 1.2 K or so. Gold and Mercury were easily
purified. I have seen his actual data graphed for Mercury (including
its superconducting transition)
