But you might be (pleasantly?) surprised with the number of HS kids
who ARE 'into' such 'chips' and the 'Black Box' rules that let us use
them with ease.

(Perhaps this discussion doesn't belong on an academic Physics list)

Do we need to 'understand' Solid State and Quantum Physics to use such things?
