Re: regression for mac

It looks like Scilab for Mac is still a beta Unix version. I hope
it will also be available to ordinary (non-unix) Mac users.
Here is a quote from the URL that JohnD posted.

"Scilab is a CACSD package developed in the Meta2 project
at INRIA, primarily for Unix/Xwindow systems. Scilab is
a high-level language, primarily intended for numerical
computations. It comes with a number of built-in functions
(matrix computation, graphics,...) and toolboxes (signal
processing, control,..) and extensive on-line documentation.
It is also available for MacOS and LINUX PC. Scilab is
distributed free. ... Scilab is a high-level language for
numerical computations in a user-friendly environment. ..."

there is a Macintosh port of Scilab.

That's a real industrial-strength tool. It'll
do regression and about a million other things.
And it's extremely affordable, i.e. free.
