Re: Is photon a wave packet ?

(1) I am aware of the spin polarization experiments. I still don't know how
to understand them, but I am aware of them. Is there any reason to suspect
a lingering connection between a photon and the energy levels in the atom
that created the photon.

(2) I don't understand how to make the two ideas congruent that (a) a photon
doesn't have spatial existence and (b) a photon has a velocity and "arrives"
at some point at a time later than when it was created.
