Re: Query on Neutrinoless Double Beta decay.

I'm re-sending this because I never received any indication that the
message made it to Bob or to the Phys-L list (on 3/28). Apologies if
you've already seen this.

The best (i.e. most stylistically rigorous) diagram I have found is at a
site from the Netherlands at
<http://www.nikhef.nl/~henkjan/astro/node30.html>.

The only problem for me is that their diagram shows pp--->nn decay, but
I'm thinking that most of the research is looking for nn--->pp decays,
n'est-ce pas?

There is a crude diagram of the nn--->pp diagram at very top of the WIPP
site at <http://www.wipp.carlsbad.nm.us/science/DBDecay/DBDecay.htm>. I
like this diagram because it makes clear that this decay mode will only
be observed if neutrinos are indeed Majorana particles, identical to
their antiparticles, and not Dirac particles as implied by the
"original" Standard Model.

Best wishes,

Larry

Dear List Members:
Does anyone have a link which provides the Feynman diagram for a
neutrinoless double beta decay. I haven't been successful using the google
search engine. Any help would be appreciated.
