For the simple balloons I have made from trash bags and drop cloths I have
used one of the hot air guns that are sold for home tasks like removing
paint or floor tile. They get a lot hotter than a regualr hair dryer and
seem to blow more volume of air too. Just dont aim it directly at the
plastic film or it shrivels up.
