imminent "second coming" (anticipated for about 2500 years, I gather)
makes all this irrelevant, but for the rest of us it's a real crisis.

Oh I dunno, Jack. There are many of us who would like a global
warming. The Canadians, Alaskans, and other Northerners come to mind. I
am sure that they would appreciate a longer growing season. The Bangladesh
might get a little miffed, but....

Besides we will be in another glaciation soon, and we will forget the
Ozone, etc.
