Here at wonderful Western Iowa Tech, all travel and conferences and the like for teachers have been cancelled. No travel reimbursements, no time off, no nothing. If you are an administrator that is a different story. But us mere teachers are prevented from going to such things.
(not actually policy says you can't go..you can submitt the request, it just wont get approved)
We can't travel as the state cut 6% of our budget this year? and will cut 3% next year.
