That is the exact question.

General procedure in situations like this:

1a) Take your best guess as to what the questioner
had in mind; then
1b) Restate the question so that it is no longer
manifestly ridiculous; then
1c) Answer the restated question. Ensure that
this is not mistaken for an answer to the
original question.
