Re: Iron-rich solar core?



There are three masses involved (at least). At least two of them
must be non-zero. There is no clue in these data as to the scale of the
masses. The mass differences involved, however, appear to be tiny.

Could I tell my students that the disparity seems to be cleared up by
a small but finite mass that allows 'oscillation' of the neutrinos to
another flavor?
