The first college class I taught (my day job is High School
Physics Teacher) I had two students like you had. I was
shocked. I thought, mistakenly, college students wanted
to be in class. Anyway, I went to my supervisor, which at
this small branch was the assistant dean. The problem
although, didn't completely cease - it did get toned down
several levels. I don't know if he talked to them, but I am
guessing he did? After teaching, this class several times
and feeling more comfortable in the environment, I might
do things differently, but I have never had the problem
again (I am holding my breath). Maybe the word is out
that I go to the dean if you cause problems.
