Re: value of g in black holes (erratum) & =3D

Yo tambien! (=3D) which should appear =3D3D which should appear
=3D3D3D, ad infinitem!!!!

Now if my app. could search for equals sign +3D and replace it with
equals only.......

bc

P.s. immediately copied your post to special file for later reading!

Oops. It appears I made a typo in my last long post on g & black
holes. About 36 lines from the bottom I wrote:

" ... This limiting case occurs when R/r_s --> 8/9."

I accidentally got the fraction upside down. The sentence ought
to read: "This limiting case occurs when R/r_s --> 9/8."
Hopefully, readers realize that a stable heavenly body can't have
its radius less than its Schwarzschild radius.

Also for some reason my copy of my posts show up at my mailer in a
different form than the form I sent. In particular, (besides the
occasional split line ending in an 'equal sign') every time I type an
equation the equal sign appears with a trailing '3D' notation. This
is quite annoying and it messes up my equations making them even more
difficult to read than would otherwise be the case because it looks
like the 3D is supposed to be a part of the equation. So if others
are receiving my posts with a '3D' terminating each of my equals
signs please ignore them when reading my equations. Also, if anyone
knows how to stop this wierd mailer behavior, please let me know how
to do it. But for some reason the archive's copy of my posts do not
have these trailing '3D's after each equal sign. I wonder how many
others receive my posts with the '3D's and how many don't, and what
distinguishes their email settings?

As a test below I will type an 'equal sign' in Newton's 2nd law. If
someone else sees it with a '3D' they could let me know. Otherwise,
maybe it just might be some wierd quirk on how my mailer receives
phys-l mail. I would like to know if the phys-l server is actually
sending the '3D' suffixes to the equal signs or not. Here goes:

F =3D ma
