Re: MS Word Sticky Space

I think every word processor I have ever used has the ability to enter a
"hard space," which I think is the most common name for it.

In MS-Word you have to do a Ctrl-Shft-Space. I discovered this by trial and
error, and later found it in the documentation. I think there are quite a
few MS-Word features that are either undocumented or documented in obscure
places. To find the documentation in Word, go to Insert, Symbol, Special
Characters... and it is listed as a "non-breaking space." Knowing that, you
can go to the Search feature under Help and type in "nonbreaking" and
discover that nonbreaking space is not documented, although nonbreaking
hyphen is documented. So this documentation is hard to find.

In WordPerfect it is just Ctrl-Space. In WP the help index does not contain
hard space or non-breaking space, but if you ask the "perfect expert" for
hard space you will then find it.
