But my memory tells me that he was estimating the age of our
planet by calculating how long would it take to cool it down to
the present temperature from the initial temperature of about 6000
degree (the sun). I hope that Brian will eventually tell us how the
upper limit of the age of the earth was actually estimated by Kelvin.
