Re: gram scales

A sticker would be good for force-meters of one particular
model because lengths of springs may be different in different
models (even when the same range of values is covered).
Use a white masking tape and create scales for your models.

For example, if it is from 0 to 1000 grams then mark 10 N
where it was 1000, 9 N where it was 900, etc. The exact
conversion 1N-->102 (instead of 1N-->100) can also be
used, if you think it is worth the effort.

Our school district has a large collection of spring scales calibrated in
grams. We would rather that they be calibrated in Newtons.
Some of the scales we have seem to have had stickers places over the grams
units. The stickers display the proper Newton units instead.
Does anyone know of a source for these stickers?
We would like to be able to salvage the scales we have rather than having to
invest in new ones.
