The Department of Physics at Tennessee Technological University has an
opening for the 2001-2 academic year at the Instructor or Assistant
Professor level. There is a strong possibility that the position can be
extended for a second year if mutually agreeable. Duties include teaching
at the introductory level, including laboratory sections; some support for
research in the form of travel money will be available if desired. A
masters degree in physics or a related area is required; a Ph.D. is
