Visiting Assistant Professor
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Vassar College invites
applications for a full time visiting assistant professor in physics for
the academic year 2001 - 2002. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in physics
or a closely related field and prior teaching experience is a plus. The
successful candidate will be expected to teach all levels of undergraduate
physics. Candidates should send (1) a curriculum vitae, (2) a statement of
interest and experience in teaching, (3) a description of research, and (4)
arrange for three letters of recommendation to be sent to the department.
Deadline for applications is January 15, 2001. Salary will be competitive.
