Re: I want to buy a Texas Instruments CBR

Hi

Welcome aboard to wonderful stuff. Please visit

www.vernier.com for all the info you need. Please look at the new 12 bit
Lab Pro using data logger software. You can also visit www.ti.com. The
CBR and CBL2 need a graphing calculator, such as the 83/83+ (73,86,89,92
also). The Data Pro doubles as a CBL2 and a "ULI" interface for laptops.
All is menu driven with very clear language. The big plus is that its
footprint is non-existent, as opposed to a desktop and it can be carried
anywhere......................CBL2/Lab Pro/83+ also have Flash memory, so
when Vernier/Texas Instruments design an inprovement, you simply download
the new base code and have a un-to date tool. That alone is worth the
price of admission. The calculators have menus in five or six different
languages as well. All programs to run the CBR/CBL2 are available at both
sites.

good luck and enjoy. Email off line for more info or help.
(There is info at both sites for "overseas" sales.)
