We are looking to buy a more sophisticated graphing and analysis
software package for both student and faculty use in the department.
(We currently get by with Quattro Pro, Graphical Analysis, and Pasco's

be SigmaPlot 2000 and Origin 6.0. Can anyone share their impressions of
these, or suggest other alternatives? Thanks.

I don't think Graphing Calculator can do all you want to do by itself, but
it is a great graphing tool that helps students visualize things. I
recommend trying out the demo or the free version (1.1.1). It can't do all
the numerical analysis, but it is worth having as a second program.
