Just a semantic nit-pick (may be a serious confusion to some students):
A motion like Vo = 10; a = -5 is described as an object slowing down while
moving in the positive direction. The student will notice that this is a
correct description only of the first 2 seconds of the motion - thereafter
it is speeding up while moving in the negative direction.
