There are several type of bottles that must be opened. Are you
referring to milk bottles, wine bottles, medicine bottles, thermos
bottles, hot water bottles, or applesauce bottles?  Each of these
requires a
different type of bottle opener. I doubt if all of these were
invented by the same person. I suppose that the most versatile
bottle opener is a human of some sort ....such as a bartender
or a pharmacist.
