Again, you are confusing me greatly. No tough assignment, but then
sometimes I think I understand these things. If there are no photons
(virtual or otherwise) in the field so that the electron in a hydrogen
atom can know that the proton is there how will they attract each other?
Is action at a distance coming back? Are there other kinds of
excitations in a field (non-photon, non-graviton) that are
responsibility for the electronstatic field? WBN
