There are many kinds of vacuum pump oil, such as that designed for mechanical
pumps, diffusion pumps, or for turbo-molecular pumps. It's not motor oil!. All
have very low vapor pressure.

Look at http://www.vvp.varian.com/ for some vacuum products and sources of
oils.
