Re: SciAm AmSci index

Bill,

There's an index to Amateur Scientist articles at

Hi Jim! I wasn't clear enough. Your link above is simply a mirror of the
main AmSci index site at SAS page.

What I've never been able to find online is a list of www links to all of
the recent *ONLINE* articles published by Scientific American. THE
AMATEUR SCIENTIST goes from mid-1996 to present (and they are HTML with
GIF illustrations!) On the SciAm website you have to delve into each
individual archived back issue if you want acces to these articles.

Scientific American has no webpage for this. Neither does the SAS.
Because there is no online index anywhere, I fear that few people even
realize that these articles exist!

Below is the HTML for this list of web-articles for the current THE
AMATEUR SCIENTIST. I compiled it by running searches on the Scientific
American website. It also can be found at:

THE AMATEUR SCIENTIST (S. Carlson)
http://www.amasci.com/amateur/sciam1.html

Until somebody else wants to officially take this over, I'll keep adding
updates as new SciAm issues come out.

the actual titles of the articles]
