I find it increasingly common for students to not know what a record player
or vinyl record is. The "penny on the record player" problem is harder for
them to deal with.

That's too bad because it makes it hard to use one of my favorite little
problems: Given a specified width of groove how many grooves are there on
a 45 rpm record that plays for 3 minutes. (Answer below)
