Re: Scanning problems

I would hesitate to use the HTML save feature in MS products! The
results are often NOT what you want them to be. If anyone is familiar
with creating web pages, you know that MS-Word's HTML feature is
abysmal. You save it, and call it up in a REAL HTML editor to fix
everything that is wrong -- which is considerable.

Powerpoint for Windows fairs no better, unless you are using
Office2000. They have upgraded the HTML feature to be comparable to
Frontpage Express98.

Am I missing something? You can use Powerpoint, which will run the same
files on a Mac or one of those PC things, ;-) and it can save in html
format to put up onto the web. another problem, however, will arise when
your students attempt to print out all of your transparancies. the time
and ink used is considerable!
