Imagine a rifle target at which is fired 5 bullets.
Precisopn relates to how closely packed the 5 shots are regardless of
where they are on the target. Tight pack = high precision.
Accuracy relates to where the shots are with respect to the bull's eye.
One in the heart and the other four equally spaced around some outer
circle might be high accuracy.

A marksman can be accurate and precise, of course.

Where does resolution come into this, if it does.


The size of bullet holes?


the width of the rings on the target and how closely you report the
variation- would be my guess.
