Re: Scenery

Hi Jim-
When I said that you have lost me, I meant exactly what I said. I
didn't know what you were trying to say. The first step for a listener, in
effective communications, is to parrot back his understanding of the message
received. I was unable to do that, in the context of your message.
You write:
*****************************************************************
Well, Jack, it isn't clear where you are lost -- with the previous post or
with my remarks re someone's complaint that the post wasn't drab.

I understand and appreciate your "waltzing to the same tune" - I don't feel
"chilled" -- Should I respond that what you say makes no sense -- that it
is not English? -- or physics? -- Some pedant _might_, but I wouldn't hold
his/her remarks any higher than the post which gave rise to this little
sidebar.
***************************************************
I am sure, that with a little more thought I could have been much more
coulorful - and much more obscure. I don't want to take the time to do that.

*********************************************************************
So you might understand better -- I take the previous "scenery" (I forget
the author) to mean the rest frame, but perhaps I should say what I mean by
"rest".
*************************************
But how does this relate to the topic under discussion , namely,
localization of energy?

******************************************************************
OTOH, if one has to explain the language, it isn't interesting any more and
we are back to drab.
***********************
OK, I got it. You only want to communicate with people who agree
to your (unstated) definition of "drab".

Regards,
Jack

that color."
