My guess is that everyone is going to have their favorite, just depends on what
you're used to. I do all my image editing in LView Pro. You should just
download 2 or 3 and play with them for a while and seee which one you like

Have any of you really done some comparisons between the shareware products?
Perhaps one really is much better than the rest, I just know what I'm used to.
I agree about the Tucows site. it's probably the best shareware site out there.

I second the vote for Paint Shop - I pretty much do all my images in
either it or the accompanying animator. However, another one that may
be worth trying out is Graphics Workshop. I last worked with it a
couple of version ago so I can't make any reasonable comparisons.
