Two visiting positions - Kenyon College Physics



The Department of Physics at Kenyon College invites applications for two
one-year visiting assistant professor positions for the 1999-2000 academic
year. Duties for both positions include teaching advanced and introductory
physics courses and laboratories. The fields of specialization are open.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics and a commitment to excellent physics
teaching in a liberal arts context.

Kenyon is a highly selective coeducational liberal arts college located 50
miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. There are five physics faculty members and
about eight senior majors per year. Faculty members have active research
programs in quantum information theory, nonlinear fluid dynamics, infrared
astronomy, the history of physics, and nuclear medical imaging. Please send a
