In the Sept '98 issue of AJP (ppg 810-811) the surprisingly fuzzy
thinking (at least writing!) of Feynman (Lectures, Vol1 19-8) on rotating
frames is analyzed. Several topics of recent Phys-L discussions are
involved.
Be aware that both Feynman and the AJP authors are speaking from the
purely Newtonian view, in which centrifugal and coriolis forces are
fictitious (ie, that is NOT the argument at hand).
