PS -- Laws refers to an article in her unit 10.10: Feld, M.S., McNair, R.E.
and Wilk,S.R. (1979). The physics of karate, SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, Apr 79
p150-158.

Just an informational point, the McNair, R.E. cited above is/was Ron McNair
who got his PhD in physics from MIT after a bachelors at NC-A&T.

He was an frequent visitor to our school in it's early days, before the
Challenger 'anomaly' ended his young life. He was GREAT with H.S. students.
