Re: Job - Physics technician

Timothy: Thank you for your care and sensitivity in wording your job
opening. As a PIRA member of the AAPT Professional Concerns Committee, I
have sought to address demeaning staff position announcemnents and
redicululously insulting wages offerings.

Your post indicates a salary range for which many high school teachers
might be able to accept a University support position without taking a
paycut. There are many sorely underpaid Instructional Resource Physicists
who may also consider this position. I believe you will be able to get
what you pay for in a satisfactory manner.

Thank you, again, Karl
