Does anyone on this list teach or know someone who teaches a "Science in Science Fiction" type course? I would appreciate any info you might have.
Thanks.

Teresa;

I am a HS physics teacher in rural NS. I neither teach a course as you
have described nor have heard of one. However, I do have a book which
may act as a resource (not a text). It is "Microverse" by Bryon
Preiss, Ed., published by Bantam Books. The editor has compiled, in
pairs, a scientific essay/article and a related scifi short
story/essay. The topics range from the microscopic world,
extra-terrestrial life, the living cell, genetic code, etc. The colour
plates are fascinating themselves (light- and electron-microscopy,
Xray diffraction, particle-collision, and on), and the text juxtaposes
the perspectives of scientist and scifi author.

It may be interesting source-book for the course you talk about. Any
other sources out there?
