Re: Moon/Sun

You can probably get this off the web but there are programs that
will do it. Any planetarium program should be able to give you what
you want (e.g. Red Shift or Dance of the Planets). Also, the Naval
Observatory used to have a computerized ephemeris called ICE but I
haven't had cause to look for it in several years. You could also
roll your own using Duffett-Smith's book on astronomical algorithms
for personal computers. Or assign it as a project.

Are there programs which calculate the positions of the Sun and the Moon as
a function of time?

I have ancient shareware copies of MoonPo, SunPo, MoonTool, and FastTide.
Does anyone know about these programs??? Are there updates???
