I have not been following this thread so forgive me if this is
redundant. Isn't the sun apparent color yellowish because of the
scattering of violet and blue wavelengths? And isn't that the reason why
twilight seems so golden because of the greater length, hencefore
greater amount of scattering, that the sun's light has to travel?
