Re: Pros and Cons of Mail Readers

A few months ago, someone posted some useful information about MIME e-mail
systems. I wonder if anyone kept the info (or if the original poster could
repost). We are starting to have people on campus upgrade to a new e-mail
software package that incorporates MIME and I'm experience the garbage
effect with Eudora. Just wanted to get more info. on the ins and outs.

Most comercial email server software (CCMail, Groupwise etc...) now support
web access (as well as pop mail access) so that any computer with an
internet connection and a web browser can get to your mail.

John,

I'm in 100% agreement with you on the convenience of the Pine
mailer. Of all the different mail programs I've tried, it is by far the
easiest to learn and use. And you are right, you can use it from anywhere
on any terminal.

It is also FREE....what more could one ask!
