Re: AP physics

herbgottlieb@juno.com (Herbert H. Gottlieb) said (I think)

=3D=3D>Bright students who have a good math background are able to

=3D=3D>In fact all of (three) them who have been in my AP classes

I am about to propose an AP Physics course for next year.
Now we teach just Hewitt. I expect to have 3 students who will be =

taking Calculus from me simultaneously. (I've been offering
Calculus for three years.) Only one of the three will have taken
Hewitt. I have never taught AP Physics before. Any suggestions =

would be appreciated. Also suggestions on how to get them to =

pass the AP Calculus test (including this year's test. ) Not that it =

matters, but my students are Russian. One is very gifted =

and very motivated.
