TIMSS on the Web

You may have seen recent media reports on the Third International Math and 
Science Study (TIMSS). Among the striking results of this study is that advanced
high school physics students from the U. S. came in dead last among 16 western 
nations. The complete TIMSS results are available on the Web at a Department of 
Education site:

This site also includes recommendations for improving science and math education
in the U. S.
