I couln't figure out about this either (a physical effect which will
display a relativistic chamge of density to us). But why should this
prevent me from saying that the density, define as mass/volume, is
increasing when I know that the volume is reduced relativistically?

I think there some truth in this claim. Though I cannot now provide you
with the ultimate answer to your question, let me give a comment. Look, if
a proton goes very fast and the density of its potential electric energy
significantly increase, it would spontaneously decay (say, into neutron
plus others). Such decay process is known only within a nucleus, that is
with a help of other particles around and never with a free proton. Igal.
